Engaging With Us

Once you're interested in engaging with us on a project, here's a flavor for how an engagement typically works.

After an initial meeting to understand your current situation and partnering objectives, we will build a customized proposal and project plan. We work with you to gain clear agreement on a specific scope of work and description of deliverable(s). We then assign the right combination of experts to the project. We can be up and running on a project within a week of initial contact and our consultants can either be at your location or work remotely.

Generally, our engagements last from two to six months, but we are also available by the day for discovery workshops or critical meeting facilitation. Some clients engage us on a monthly retainer basis for ad-hoc brainstorming and problem solving.

Our project management process is, by definition, highly collaborative with your team. That usually takes the form of regular weekly project updates and associated status meetings, plus an interim presentation on findings and recommendations, consummated by a final in-person presentation and discussion workshop. We map our project management processes to your team's accessibility and desired processes, so that we're acting as a seamless extension of your partner team.

At Amazon Consulting we take great pride in treating each client individually. You have a unique culture and style of getting things done. We will tailor our business processes to match your style. In addition, your confidentiality is a top priority for us which is why we not only sign a non-disclosure agreement, we give you a clearly defined Confidentiality Promise, making clear how we will gather, share and ultimately communicate information we've gathered during the project.
